I spent a few minutes this afternoon tweaking the settings on my camera. If you have a digital SLR, you probably have an "interval timer" setting in your menus somewhere. While learning about mine, I came across these links:

These are "movies" of photos shot by digital cameras, then put together in a movie editing program.

I am imagining the possibilities as it relates to shooting trains - set up a camera to record the morning servicing rituals, or a C&TS train winding its way up Whiplash Curve, etc.
