From the FWIW desk: The NM AG's office has sent a letter to the CTSMC asking for info on the tax exempt status of the CTSMC under the provisions of 501(c)(3) of the tax code. The attached article from the PUeblo Chieftan newspaper gives the basics.

Stand by for further developments.
