1744 To Monte Vista Next week.....

1744 will run 3 round trips between Alamosa and Monte Vista on Thurs. July 26 and Fri July 27 in conjunction with Monte's SkyHi Stampede Rodeo, Parade and general drunken brawl.

Trains will depart Alamosa 1000am, 100pm and 400pm both days.

This will be 1744's first run to Monte Vista and the first steam locomotive to run to Monte since 1151 closed the D&RGW's SG steam operations in 1956.
