I have always(for some time now)wanted to recreate William Henry Jacksons photo's on top of Rock tunnel. I knew it wasn't going to be easy with all the trees now growing up. The west view was fairly easy as the wide angle of the camera( roughly 35mm equivelent)was able to produce mostly the same field of view. Although I dont know the lens size of those medium format cameras used back then, anyone? The east view was much more diffulcult due to Henry placing his camera closer to the track!Darn You Henry!! I would definatly like comments and feedback. Even after studying my photos on the computer and Henry's I would like to go back and try harder, maybe get a wide angle lens for the picture taker! And maybe I could convince the forrest service to let me cut down some trees on the east side! Hey I can wish!!
