Turning a rotary on a wye

OK, I have a question for you NG railroaders out there. How do you plow out a wye (like on top of Cumbres but no showshed) with a rotary? Like at Cumbres, do you plow out one leg, then back out and go where you can turn the plow like somewhere below the snowline, and then come back to do the other leg or what? I cannot see any other way to do it,other than shovels but maybe someone knows better.
