I didn't want to hijack the thread on the EBT, but the subject of locomotive boilers got me to thinking (dangerous passtime!) about the little 168 in Antlers Park in Colorado Springs. In what condition is its boiler? I believe John Bush was involved in the cosmetic restoration done some years ago and likely has some ideas on that subject. I hope he'll weigh in here with some info. Is 168 even in good enough shape to be restored to operating condition? She looked pretty good on the outside several years ago when I stopped to look at her. Glad she has the proper stack now. I heard once years ago that the firebox was full of empty beer cans. -- Ed
