Without adding to the long-running diatribe I started about Sheriff Scotty and Denver kids TV, I wonder what happened to the large scale D&RGW F units that Carl Akers used to have on his newsdesk when he was still with KLZ channel 7? The D&RGW used to sponsor the 10pm news every other night, with Standard Oil the others. Those models would make a nice display at the Colorado RR Museum. Carl Akers was a historian also, and produced a few back roads Jeep trip documentaries. I recall one titled "Six Days to Durango" that was quite good.
