New York Connecting Railroad

Hi,
I received the following e-mail from a PRR Electrics group.
It says something about a narrow gauge railroad. I looked up New York Connecting Railroad in George Hilton's Narrow Gauge book and did not find a reference.
Does anyone know about how the New York Connecting Railroad and narrow gauge relate?
For the self-proclaimed 'Standard RR of the World', it had many non-standard items such as the W&W and the OR&W.

It took almost three weeks but my copy of the New York Connecting
Railroad was in my hand on Saturday. Very interesting information and
a few color pictures. Besides electric trains there is infromation
about narrow gage.
