My Fellow Lillians,
I'm just going to open up my fat yap and ask as it's probably been put on here before and I've just missed it.
What is the status of 268 in Gunnison? Is it even feasible to get it running? What is left on the flues? What condition is the boiler in? Has there ever been any attempt to get it down to DSNG or the CATS to run?
I know it had to go through there at one time for service in Alamosa didn't it?
I've got an HO of it on my layout pulling 8-10 sheep cars and I exchange those out for 5-8 Silverton cars and it makes for great pics!
