WP&Y Steam in 2007 *LINK*

Gentlemen:
We are planning a White Pass & Yukon Railway railfan weekend, probably in June, 2007, which will feature the operation of both serviceable WP&Y steam locomotives: WP&Y 69, 2-8-0 (BLW 32762 / 1908), and WP&Y 73, 2-8-2 (BLW 73352 / 1947). Both locomotives are 36" gauge. The planned 2007 operation will include doubleheading and running all the way from Skagway, Alaska, USA to Carcross, Yukon Territory, Canada. We are working on dates now. Allthough called a railfan weekend this event will likely occur mid-week and likely will be in June, 2007.
