All,
This is a little late coming but I want to thank everyone who attended the Labor Day weekend Steam & Power Show and the Shay 7 dedication. We had great crowd for the event. All and all a perfect weekend. So many people have said so many great things about the weekend, it's overwhelming! THANK YOU! We are all gald that so many had such a great time; that makes it all worth all the work.
We will be operating the Shay the last two weekends in Oct. when we host the Hesston Ghost Train. Please stop out if you can.
We are also starting on plans for reworking most of our 3' gauge rolling stock. Also, work is beginning on our next locomotive to be operational our #2 2-6-0 Porter built in 1911. If anyone would like get their hands dirty and join a fun group in the mid-west please consider giving us a hand... you'll have a great time!
