It terrible to be so famous that everyone watches your travels. Recent event of Robert W. Richardson's missing his expected arrival at the EBT for the FEBT reunion cause much concern. He was visited today and all is well, as he just did not feel like doing the drive on the cold Saturday. He passed his regrets and thanked all for the concern.
For those that missed the weekend at EBT missed a lot of great action and sounds. A new horn on the M-7 was appreciated account of its harmonics. #15 was as beautiful as ever and echoed off all the mountains all the days (and night) long. All operations were on time and only one picnic train on the end of colder Saturday was cut account of all catching space on the steam train. Both night trains ran with good loads. Sunday was a fantastic day with wonderful full trains all day. Additional of interest this year was the track car service over rail mileage to the south using a number of historic old restroyed units, including the M-3,hand pump car, and original EBT motor cars.
There are still some weekends you can ride this year so don't miss #15, the Baldwin 2-8-2.
