D&RGW loco service records

A few years ago someone(probably Earl)advised me that my shot photos of 494 and 495 were not taken in 1961, as I had thought. He said that one of those engines, or both were out of service by this time, according to records he had seen. Therefore I was thinking it was 196O, cause in fact we made a trip out there that year as well.
Then yesterday I saw a post on Trainorders by a guy who shot 494 in Durango in 1961. I emailed him, and he is pretty sure it was 1961, cause he didn't move to Colorado until 1960, and shot no trains then!
So, am trying to clear this up if possible. Anyone have any info or pics from 1960-61 of 494 or 495 to help out!

PS, Its possible he is right about 1961, and its possible Earl was right as well. I am thinking maybe 495 last ran in 1960, and 494 in 1961!!! Guess thats part of the scenario, or could be???
