Narrow gauge reporting marks

Besides a logo or initials on the piece of rolling stock to indicate the railroad that owns/operates the piece of equipment and a number for tracking and record keeping purposes, are there any other required reporting marks for narrow gauge rolling stock?
I realize the Rio Grande had marks such as car weight, load capacity, maintenance dates, etc. Other roads did not have that much information.
What, if any, markings were required?
