Thunder Lake Narrow Gauge resources?

August 24, 2006 05:39PM
Greetings to the forum.
There sure isn't much on the web concerned with the Thunder Lake Narrow Gauge. Is any one here
interested in TLNG? What resources are you aware of? I am aware of the excellent Huston book and of the Mylrea papers collection. Would like to start developing resources and pics, maybe start up a Thunder Lake web page. Care to join in?
How many other narrow gauge RR's ran 50 car log trains pulled by Lima 2-8-0's!
Mystery pic. Here is a little narrow gauge tank locomotive from Northeastern Wisconsin, which is Thunder Lake territory. The TLNG ran a little 0-4-2T porter around the time of this photo. Can anyone confirm that this photo is indeed of Thunder Lake?
