D&RGW 319-345

February 05, 2006 07:00AM
When these two loco's were retired and used for filming "Denver & Rio Grande," after the impressive movie wreck were they loaded on flat cars & moved to Alamosa?
I've seen pix of them sitting on std gauge flats in Pueblo ready to be cut up for scrap.
Now wondering if maybe they were towed "dead" in a freight train from Durango to Alamosa.
Any pictures out there?
