Ray, I was riding the D&S on I believe the second weekend of october and our trian was the first silverton bound train of the day with engine 478 still painted up as #472 and not long after passing hermosa the train stopped and all I could get out of the rear end brakeman was that the engine was loosing steam. I was later told that you were possibly the engineer and was wondering if you could shed some light on the subject.
