Large Scale Model Train Meeting 9/10/05

Friends,
This is not narrow gauge, but it may interest some of you. The Georgia Garden Railway Society will host a meeting this Saturday, September 10, 2005 at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The feature of the meeting will be a large scale train display by Paul Busse with 7 trains operating. One train crosses a 40 ft. bridge. There is also a 'floating' island with an operating train. Many local homes and buildings are represented on the layout. The group will view the layout all day, but will have a meeting in a conference room at 1:30 to discuss plans for the Southeast Large Scale Train Show in Perry, Georgia at the Georgia National Fairgrounds located beside I-75 on June 24-26, 2006. Anyone in the Atlanta area would be welcome to visit our meeting.
