I am pleased to report that last evening the Georgetown Loop Railroad & Railstar were proud to operate a special train for the town of Silver Plume for thier 125th birthday. The use of the train, crew and fuel were donated by Railstar. The consist was comprised of No.12, two gondola cars and two boxcars. The train departed Silver Plume at 6:30, traveled to the Lebanon Station for a bar-b-que picinic and mine tour. Boarding the train about 9:00 PM for continued ride down the hill, run-around at Devil's and back up the hill. Engine crew: Steve Flemmer-engineer, Steve torrico-fireman, Train Crew: Willie Maine-Conductor, Don Cummings-Brakeman. Sure was cool running up the hill at night! Dan Adler photos to soon be posted.
