IRCA info

Last week there was a thread about the annual reports of the IRCA in Guatemala. As luck would have it, while unpacking boxes of books and old magazines after moving into my new home, I ran across a very good two-part article in the August and September, 1954 issues of "Trains" magazine.
The article is primarily about Hy Gailey, former SP Roadmaster of the Yuma Division who left the SP for Guatemala and eventually became Roadmaster on the IRCA's 2nd District.
It's a good read if you can find these old issues of the magazine. There's also what appears to be a pretty complete locomotive roster. Remember, though, the roster's over 60 years old.
