Two Towle Bros Locos still exist?????

Howdy all,
Been some discussion on a Yahoo group about the possibility of two Towle Bros locos may still exist somewhere in the woods near either Texas Hill or Onion Valley,California. Apearantly the USFS knows the location and has erected a fence around them to protect them but they are not releasing the location. I've heard of no-one who knows the location. Anybody got any clues?????
I'm just currently starting a project on the Towle Bros for my Foothill Rails website and would love to get photos of these units. I've explored parts of the row near Fulda Creek, Drum Forebay and Ziebright Mine recently and found some spikes and such but nothing as substantial as a loco.
Apearantly this rumor has been around for awhile. I've also heard a version that states during a big forest fire, these locos were secretly removed from the area by helicopter.
If anyone can shed light on this subject it would be greatly appreciated.
