I heard last night that the ghost town of Clifton, Arizona was sold for use as a movie set. A narrow gauge terminal till 1932, about a two block section of its old business district has been completely abandoned for many years, though almost perfectly intact. The rest of the town is still occupied, and trains still run to the huge Morenci pit above Clifton. The beautiful old A&NM/Coronado R.R. depot is still intact, though a corner was lopped off for the highway widening some years ago.
