Chama Steam 2005 is getting close
Almost time to get excited only 34 days left until Chama Steam 2005.
I am thinking about getting a new camera For Chama Steam 2005 pictures.
From the Chama Steam Site.
Early on Friday, August 26, a double-headed freight train will thunder out of the Chama yard,
headed for Cumbres Pass.
On arrival at Cumbres, the consist will be put on the siding. The engines will return to Chama.
In the afternoon, a second train will head up to Cumbres.
At Cumbres the complete train will be assembled and wend its way back down to Chama.
There will be numerous stops for photos and runbys.
A 'chase bus' will be provided for those who wish to use it.
Free lunch and drinks will be provided.
Free commemorative patch will be given to each participant.
In the evening there will be a free buffet dinner at Foster's, with cash bar.
The excursion is limited to 70 participants.
Price of the event is $400.00
