Steve took the weekend off and went back to Cheeze-land for the week. Robert Franzen came out to pinch-hit.
Robert on the left side west of Sierra....
He's wearing his new UP gloves that were given to him personally by Steve Lee.
Carlos came along for the ride too. Here he is giving Charlie expert advice on running a locomotive, or on women, or farming, or something....
Headed up the east side - from the fireman's side this time..
Robert gets inducted into the "The Royal Order Of Living People Who Have Run A Steam Locomotive Up La Veta Pass" (current membership is 5). A soon as he gets the secret handshake down, he will get his membership card.
