(Loop Content) Loop Ridership Due 7/10/05 *LINK*

According to CHS representatives on the Loop Park Coordination Committee, today (Sunday) is the day that initial Loop ridership numbers will be released.
As reported on the CHRRPA website and elsewhere, ridership from Loop opening day on May 28th through Friday, June 17th had been requested for the June LPCC meeting. The Society stated initially that those numbers were 'proprietary information', but in concert with Railstar Marketing Director Kathy Denzer, the response was amended to needing the information from the reservation system of the Georgetown Loop Historic Railroad.
As of 6:00 AM this morning, there were no announcements of ridership on the websites of the Colorado Historical Society, the Georgetown Loop Historic Railroad, or the Denver Post. A Google search revealed nothing, nor was any notification received by CHRRPA.
Noting that July 10th is a Sunday, it is doubtful that CHS/Railstar will be working this effort over the weekend; publication of the requested numbers on July 11th is acceptable.
