I know there had been some talk about the D&SNG recreating the Silver Vista and would they make the dome with tinted windows. Well I was watching a video (in color) of one of the Rocky Mnt RR club excursions over Marshall Pass and they had a nice close up of the Silver Vista and it had tinted windows-they were clearly tined. So it seems that the D&SNG plan to have tinted windows will be accurate. Thought this was interesting. The video was Machines of Iron "Gunnison" which I highly recommend if your a D&RGW ng fan--great shots of the 474 on long coal trains to Crested Butte just for starters and finsihes up with a quadruple header over Marshall Pass during the stock rush.
