Today's (7/4/2005) edition of the Utica, NY "Observer-Dispatch" newspaper has an article about the Erie Canal Village in Rome, NY.
The article is of interest to this forum because, as previously discussed, the Erie Canal Village is owned by Railstar and they operate a 2' gage railroad there.
The Village's railroad is probably carrying a lot of passengers this year because the village's canal boat remains out of service. The boat was damaged by vandals last month.
