Up to now, the NGDF has been run as a completely open forum, anyone who wants can come and post anything they want, and any questions will be asked afterward. However there has always been the problem of the occasional anonymous poster showing up, throwing a monkey in the wrench and causing trouble. There are a couple of things we can do to discourage this behavior, we can require that people provide an e-mail address, and / or that people register before they post. In either case, your e-mail address is unavailable over the internet, although you can be contacted via e-mail with the NGDF system acting as a mediator. Should we decide to require registration it would only be required in order to post, anyone could read anything without restrictions.
So, I would like to take an informal poll on people's preferences regarding this issue. I would like to ask that people only vote once (or at least don't be rediculous about it), and that as many people vote as possible.

Nothing, leave things as they are. That people provide an e-mail address when they post. That people have to register with a valid e-mail address to post.
