D&RG Caboose 17 Restoration

In an earlier posting I mentioned the San Juan County Historical Society is raising money to restore former D&RG caboose 17 (later Silverton Northern 1007). For a minimum donation of $18, one can get a nice t-shirt with the caboose pictured on the front. I received some inquiries about the t-shirt color selection. According to the museum staff, only one color is available: Gray (with red caboose). If interested, please send your donation to the San Juan County Historical Society in Silverton, Colorado. Every dollar contributed helps!

The NGDF was started by Don Richter and is currently operated in his memory by Nathan Holmes and others.
