Steel covered combination car #50

Uintah Railway combination car #50 has stopped at the section house at McAndrews Lake Colorado, in the 1930's. Deliveries of supplies to the section house was made here, after the lady of the house would send a list with the conductor on the day before. This list was then given to the conductor a Atchee for the trip on in to Mack, where the conductor would then give the list to the Operator of the MAck Mercantile who would fill the order and give it to the conductor on the next train the next morning. Furniture was even delivered in this fashion! The small fenced in area in the foreground was part of a garden.
