Guess I am not susposed to do this but as you all know the steel industry is pretty much kaput in the US of A. As far as I can remember the biler tubes for re-tubing C&TS boilers came from europe. Reason, I was told the stuff we make here didnt cut the mustard! Now I read the same goes for rail. What is the answer, well we need more studys, think tanks, talk it to death! And yes, how about the bean counters, how about EMD selling out to who knows.
