The most recent NG&SL Gazette has good article in the series about Class 60's, later C-16's.
I can't remember the author (left the copy at home), but he states that 268 kept her original tender up until '49, at which time it was replaced with a K-27 tender.
My question, is when did it get it's original tender back, because what's behind it right now, sure wasn't from a 27.
Anyone have any insights?
