A question for old fogies, archivists, artisans...

November 05, 2004 07:39PM
Gang,
Quite unexpectedly, I just received a small packet of cut-out pages of "Railroad Magazine" from my Uncle. Each page is about 5'x8" in size. Most are drawings of cars or locos he saved for some reason and there are a couple of articles on railroading in general.
A pleasant treat, and MOST interesting to me, are six humorous drawings of (I can only assume them to be) the ficticious "Fiddletown & Copperopolis Ry" done by Carl Fallberg. The drawings appear to be numbered, and I have 7, 8, 9,, 12, 15 and 16.
Since the pages aren't dated, I have no idea of when this material was printed or how many of this "series" might have been published. Any ideas?
Thanx, Gary.
