In one week from now, October 8 - 11, the WW&F Railway Museum will be having our Fall Track Laying session. This is your invitation to attend.
The goal is to complete a run-around track at the northern end of the line, the Alna Center station area. We may also further extend the mainline if that is feasible.
Roadbed has been cleared of stumps and sod for more than a half-mile north of the end of track. Additionally we've recieved a quantity of fine rail from Aberdeen & Rockfish RR in NC and the Connecticut Antique Machinery Associate in CT. The A&R also sent up several 56-lb frog assemblies.
Pray for good weather.
