Back in August I spent some time in Narrow Gauge Country. My folks and I had not been on a vacation together in years, so we met in ABQ, rented a SUV and headed north.
Although I did have a couple days of Eureka shooting planned on the D&S, this was primarily a family vacation, with few set agendas.
We kind of wandered, and I put my parents first and the trains second (just ask the C&TS reservation folks how many times we changed plans.)
We did not even plan to go to Taos, but we ended up there anyway, so I was able to get some shots in Embudo and Tres Piedras, and later South Fork.
It's been a month to get around to posting these, but if I can find the time, I'll post more train stuff from our wanderings.
This shot is the Embudo Tank looking north towards Alamosa.
