493 crossing the new Animas River bridge with the first regular Silverton train

Today, Silverton opening day, 493 followed the Presidential train across the new Animas River bridge with the first regular passenger train of the 2024 season. The train had 13 cars, giving the 493 a substantial load for the climb from Durango.
