SVRR Archive Moving In

Now that our SVRR archive and library building is finished, I am wasting little time on getting moved in. I have made two more trips since my last update. Yesterday, was a milestone in that the trailer load of furniture inside the green trailer which had been stored for six years was delivered back to the Sumpter Valley and unloaded. What is normally a 2 1/2 hour trip one way was a 3 1/2 hour drag freight run. The pickup cab was full of boxes of books as well as the back end under the Tonneau cover. As you can see from the photos the layout of the interior furnishing is taking shape. I already have the trailer reloaded with a large wooden map cabinet, the remainder of the books and a start on loading archive material. The trailer is back inside the heated building for the next few days as snow and rain are predicted through Sunday. I should be able to get the trailer fully loaded in the next few days and perhaps make another trip on Monday the 8th weather permitting. Kudos to my friends Bryan and Terry Fosback from Baker City who helped with the move in.
