Wooden passenger car in field near Monte Vista

While this looks to be a standard gauge car, it seemed like this would be the most likely place to know the answer. Came across this old beauty in a field in the general vicinity of Alamosa/Monte Vista while checking out the Sandhill Crane migration (it was my first time, and the town of Monte Vista put on a great craft & wildlife fair and had a free kids movie at the downtown theater, they did a great job hosting the crowds).

Despite the condition, the craftsmanship and details are still evident. Would love to know if anyone can tell me when it was built and what railroad it's from?

And a couple for any birders out there
