SVRy Posed in the Sun

In 1990 Bob Hanft donated a few photos to Sumpter Valley Railroad Restoration Inc., that presumably he had taken himself on the Sumpter Valley Ry. in the late 1940's. These were photographic prints that he made off of his negatives. He mentioned that he had others, so then SVRR president the late Jim Lethlean offered to by copy prints of his remaining SVRy images. This is one of the shots from Mr. Hanft which was taken at South Baker on April 13th, 1947. We have SVRy #250 posed at the south end of the engine house. Likely, SVRy #101, a diesel mechanical switch engine has been used to shove #250 out into the sun.
