Silverton Photo Question

This is scanned from an unidentified print in the SVRR Archive Harr Collection. I am fairly certain that this was taken at Silverton, Colorado and the depot would be that of the Denver & RioGrande Western. Based on the rear end of the car at the left of the shot, this was likely taken in the 1930's. The improvised rail vehicle then is the subject in question. Did this belong the DRGW for use of the section crew, or?
