More accurately, the other side of the world with narrow gauge.
My employer had me in Burnie, Tasmania for 10 days this month where I discovered a couple treats I didn't know about before taking that very long airplane ride to the other side of the world. The first is that TasRail is 3'6" gauge and operates into the port with container traffic, zinc ore concentrates, and some amount of pulpwood traffic. Burnie being a small town I was walking from hotel to office so got a couple good opportunities to "over the fence" shoot the port yard. It's an interesting contrast in practices with steel ties, handbrake wheels low on the cars, and locomotives that look very Alco-ish despite their very British origins. (Knowing exactly zero I quickly located a reference website, the link is below for those of you interested. [
