Trains, Motorcycles, Money & Sound
I just got back from a week at Hill City S.D. My friend Scotty has a store ( Railroad Art by Scotty ) on main street in Hill City. The Sturges Motorcycle Rally was going on, in fact that is why I went up.
Trains: The 1880 train depot was about a block away
Motorcycles: Everywhere no place to park a car.
Money: Sold lots of my coin jewelry
SOUND: The BEST, the train bell and whistle mixed in with the mororcycles driving thru town.
The photos are from the front of Scotty's store and were taken early in the morning before it really got crowded. from about 9 to 7 there was just no parking places left and lots of people in and out of the stores. I also noticed a lot of motorcycles in the railroad parking lot.
YES to motorcycles and trains. What a great marriage.
