I saw this week on RFD TV a segment about an electric mine RR in CO. Unfortunately I missed the first 5-10 minutes of it, but I think it was an operation at a molybdenum mine.
Apparently the RMRRC documented it before it was abandoned after 23 years in operation (1976-1999).
I was wondering if any of the equipment was not scrapped. They were neat little electrics.
The other item from the show was that the gauge was 42.5" (I thought that's what I heard). That is 1.08 meters. Odd gauge. Was its gauge actually 42.5" or did I misunderstand?
