Picture posting experiment -

Bob "Spannerman" Randall driving the National Railway Museums' Beattie 2-4-0WT 30587 - picture taken by me while I was firing 30585 (the other Beattie - yes there are two of them!)

The following Sunday I was driving 30587 and took this picture of 30585 - Tom Franklin (firing, Oggy who was driving is hiding) has everything under control. 30585 is owned by the Quainton Railway Society. Both of these locos were built in 1873 but how much remains from then is questionable! Both were withdrawn in 1962 (along with one other which was scrapped) - the other 80 or so were disposed of before 1900
