So after doing some research I learned that the Union Pacific helped extend their Las Vegas line into Boulder City, where it went to the current Hoover Dam for construction. The route through the mountains is now a hiking trail and the railroad tunnels are still holding up. As I know, the still surviving trackage is owned by the Nevada Southern Railway and ends at the wye at the back of their museum. What I'm trying to figure out is where the track connected between the current trail entrance and the wye? I have looked at old satellite images and railroad maps but couldn't find much information on it. If anyone has a map or some information, that'd be appreciated. Thanks
