This is a still image from film shot by the late Jim Vail, a NG fan from California. It was shot in Mexico City's San Lazaro yard. He was shooting switching moves on the NG, which is mostly dual gauge. He has this quick going away shot of what looks like some form of a passenger train. One source thought it might be perhaps a "Pay train". There seems to be a couple of soldiers on the rear, as well as perhaps brakemen hanging on various cars.
It doesn't look to be a regular mixed or passenger train to me. Any other thoughts on this image? Thanks, Greg Scholl
