Colorado & Southern 8310 *LINK*

Some of you may remember my posting a few months ago about the body of Colorado & Southern boxcar #8310, which is being used as a shed by the Great Western Railway in Loveland Colorado.
The Great Western is looking to have this "shed" removed ASAP and has said that we (the Boulder County Railway Historical Society) may have it if we can move it. We would very much like to save this car, our tentative plans are to give it to the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, where it will be restored.
That said, we need $$ to move the car from Loveland ASAP! This is the only original C&S steel underframed boxcar body that I know of and it is in reasonably good shape. If you would like to help us preserve this car, please send donations to BCRHS 1936 14th Street Boulder CO 80302, the BCRHS is an IRS 501c3 non profit, donations are tax deductable. 100% of donations for C&S 8310 will be used to move the car, anything raised above and beyond the costs of moving will be used for the car's restoration.
