Slide that I found..... *PIC*

.....rummaging through my desk drawer. I didn't take this and the photographer is unknown. There is a date stamp on it. My guess is Ernie Robart took it as this is one of Ernie's favorite photo locations. Thanks Ernie. If not, and somebody out there took it, thanks to you.
October 1, 1994. 489, 484 & 497 slug it out through the lower part of Hurley's Curve at MP 338.5. Tom Atkinson is on 489, yours truly on 484, the famous El Coke is on 497. The equally famous - and eventual mayor of Chama - Archie Vigil is firing for me (I bet JC loves being equally famous as old Archie..). Behind us is 23 cars - 521 tons.
Not much else in my notes: the wedge that hangs on the tender for holding the right side rerailing frog was missing, and electical gremlins had made 484's back headlight non-functional. On duty 800am, tied up at 400pm.
...the good old days.
