Sorry guyes I am not with it today. Now that I know what the lever is for on the C-16 sand dome I have a couple other questions.
How is the dome attached to the boiler? I doubt the real thing is soldiered on. Also what does the cross section of the dome look like. I have seen many sections of steam domes but I can't remember one of a sand dome. (Not that I think I will model the inside of a sand dome, just curious.
While curosity is running rampid I also noticed on the pictures that there seems to be a dome throttle rod which I never noticed before. Do C-16's have steam dome throttles?
Enough wondering for the moment. I will keep this up until I finally assemble the Sn3 kit I have for a C-16.
