Alder Gulch Shortline #12 was inspected, hydro-ed and put back together last week and went out to stretch her legs yesterday. She will be under steam again today.
Next Saturday, May 17th, she will be running again for a Virginia City Fire Department fundraiser. If any "narrower" gaugers are looking for an outlet for their steam spring fever--stop by. It is not hard to find. We are the only 30" gauge line between Nevada City and Virginia City, Montana.
Some special thanks to the good folks at Strasburg RR. Mr. K. Anderson provided some last minute help regarding air governor options and advice. The cooperation within the steam community is great. Thanks again.
